Hi there! My name is Ambrose and I am here at the Blue Mountain Humane Society in Walla Walla. I'm not too sure how I like dogs, but I seem to get along with other cats and love humans! I would still like you to go slow when meeting me though. Just so I can learn everything about you bestie! I am one sweet lad looking to go on adventures with a new friend! If that is you, fill out an adoption application online and come meet me! I can't wait to say hi!Adoption process1. Browse the animals online or stop by during our shelter hours.2. Get to know the animal. Play with them, take them for a quick walk, observe their behavior.3. Talk to our staff about the animal. Learn about their personality!4. Once you’ve decided to adopt, fill out an adoption application. Dogs over the age of 6 months can go on a home-trial to make sure they are your perfect match. Puppy, cat, and kitten adoptions can be finalized that day!5. Receive a lifetime of unconditional love! Animals are available on a first-come-first-serve basis. Part of our mission is to place the animals in their new forever home as soon as possible, so we normally don't "hold" an animal for the Adopter.Shelter locationWe are open to the public Tuesday - Friday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. for adoptions. Special visiting hours are Fridays from noon-3 p.m. and Saturdays from noon-2 p.m. Our pets can also be seen online at www.bluemountainhumane.org
